CADA members explore leadership for fundraising growth

CADA members came together for a half-day workshop focused on the leadership choices and organisational conditions that can help charities accelerate income growth.

The session, ‘Organisation-Wide Leadership for Fundraising Growth’, was facilitated by James Kliffen of Revolutionise International and brought together leaders from across CADA member organisations.

Drawing on the research behind the Great Fundraising approach, James shared evidence from charities around the world that have achieved rapid and sustained income growth, alongside practical insights from Revolutionise International’s work with NGO clients.

The workshop explored how fundraising and charitable delivery can be aligned around a shared purpose and ambition, as well as the role of leadership, investment and organisational culture in creating the conditions for growth. Participants also considered the importance of understanding donor needs, emotion and communications in connecting supporters with a cause.

The event formed part of CADA’s programme of learning and development opportunities for coalition members, designed to provide space to learn, reflect and share experience.

CADA thanked James for sharing his expertise, research and practical insights, and everyone who took part in making the session a valuable opportunity for members to connect and learn together.
